About me

Thanks for visiting my page!

Hey! :)
I see you want to know a little bit about me ...
My name is Elle.
I have a slight obsession with fitness & health and my dream is to set up my own fitness centre in the US.

My fitness journey began when I joined my local gym ,after beginning to think that Shaun T's home insanity program was not enough to reach my desired goal.I started with exploring all the different resistant machines, along with my insanity workout to warming up using the cardio machines then focusing on lifting weights. From then on I was hooked,I love feeling DOMS ,it's my body's way of telling me I worked hard-the pain was satisfying.Lifting weights is therapeutic for me ,in a way,it helped me to de-stress and work on a better me.I could forget about all the little thoughts that were going through my mind & go into my own tranquil world.I soon discovered the aesthetic changes with my body & became addicted to going to the gym.I got addicted to the point that I was going 2 times a day ,everyday and I fitted that around College! Unfortunately ,this only lasted about 4 months ,before it was exam period again and had to get prioritise education by studying.

Without the gym or doing any intense workouts ,my stress levels were 'flying through the ceiling' resulting in loss of gains and definition. These are the very few words a fitness fanatic wants to hear or see. This alone deflated my self-esteem.However,I'm quite resilient ,so I tried my best to put myself back on track. If a body builder can transition from their off season body to competition physique ,then surely it is possible to come back better. This did prove difficult when I spent most of my first year at College travelling on trips abroad.Although, this didn't stop me from researching about nutrition plans, where I learnt about certain fad diets and macros.I developed an interest in all things fitness and there was no denying it! After all,I only read things in my spare time ,if it really interests me.

Needless to say it's November 2014 and I am slowly but surely getting back on-route to a leaner defined body.

I've got an 6 and 8 week plan set out (not that I'm counting) .I'm just going to take it day by day with baby-steps and remember that any form of workout is better than no workout ~ slow progress is better than no progress.

Believe to succeed & stay dedicated.
Elle
